Candace Kelly is a dedicated follower of Jesus who is passionate about discipleship and the training and equipping of the body of Christ. She is an Eastern Kentucky native with over 16 years experience in educational institutions and has established her career path in administration, teaching, and mentoring students of all ages. Over the duration of her career, Candace has served as an Executive Director and Children’s Chaplain for primary Christian education, a Learning Center Supervisor and Worship Arts Instructor for secondary Christian education, and as an Assistant Director of Fine Arts and Campus Manager for Higher Education institutions. Candace holds a Master of Arts in Worship Studies and Leadership from the Liberty University School of Music and Worship Arts and a Bachelor of Business Administration and Marketing from Morehead State University.
In addition to her professional career, Candace has also served for the past 14 years as a dedicated worship leader, serving with her gifts and talents in a variety of ministry settings. These endeavors have included training and equipping worship teams, assisting in church plants and transitions, overseeing and directing regional ministry events and retreats, and serving abroad as a short-term missionary.
In 2022, after much prayer about direction in ministry, God specifically aligned Candace’s journey to focus on the healing and wholeness of the creative worshipers; the vocalists, musicians, speakers, writers, painters, and dancers. After this direction, Candace earnestly stepped away from a professional career and entered into the chaplaincy ministry of these creative worshipers as a whole-hearted mandate. She believes that through theological education, inner healing, and discipleship, that the worshipers can be set free into their destiny in ultimate effectiveness. Her “yes” to God’s will for her life then led to the launching of Kingdom Reign Studios and Worship Arts Academy. Through this ministry, a discipleship and training program was birthed, with the purpose of helping others encounter healing and wholeness, while discovering their God-given gifts and talents. The ministry exists to serve local churches and currently represents 15+ ministries in Appalachia, serving ages 7-60+, while encompassing a heart of unity in the Kingdom.
Today, Candace still resides in Eastern, Kentucky with her husband and ministry partner of 11 years and together they also share in two beautiful children, Charlotte and Abram. As a family they faithfully love God's people and serve the needs of the local church.
